This demonstration site marks a new era in efficient, effective, and comfortable building design. Reductions in annual utility costs alone allow the entire system installation to have a simple payback of only 3.4 years.

Fifty-two Solatube Daylighting Systems were used to fully daylight the entire second floor office space and reception areas (6,600 sf of daylit space including all interior offices, hallways, and restrooms), providing an annual electric lighting energy consumption reduction of 86% for the daylit areas.

Solution/Warehouse
Seventy-seven Solatube 21-O with the prismatic drop diffuser were used to provide task illumination in the 41,000 sf, high-bay manufacturing and shipping areas, providing a 68.2% reduction in annual electric lighting energy consumption.
